We usually respond within three days
Usually, job adverts start by describing what we do as a business, but let us first ask you some questions:
- Are you tired of working for startups that never managed to grow and have a real impact on the market?
- Do you miss being able to work in an autonomous team where no single person is solely responsible for decisions?
- Do you want to collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers the same way you collaborate with your fellow Engineers?
- What about your tech debt or experimenting with new technologies and approaches? No problem, on Mondays we work only on tech-related tasks, no product.
- Do you have opinions and ideas? Then, for sure, you want to express them and be listened to. At ToolTime, we provide all the necessary tools and spaces to make this happen.
- Do you want to grow to the best possible version of yourself?
If the above questions are important to you, then keep reading. We are looking for talented people who want to:
- Collaborate and communicate proactively with their colleagues
- Provide input and help us shape the features and tech of tomorrow
- Take initiatives, support them, and be accountable for them
- Think in a user-oriented way to improve the performance and accessibility of our tool
- Extend and maintain our product in collaboration with developers and partners
- Work in a truly agile manner, rigorously following continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
In terms of technology and other requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Web and Server-Side technologies, fluency in Java/Kotlin, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- You value tests as a core part of the development process, prefer working with TDD where possible, and write tests that are meaningful, efficient, and maintainable.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and related services is a strong plus.
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL will be considered an advantage.
- Deep understanding of software engineering - you know how things work and can articulate the pros and cons of different solutions
- You are a proactive communicator with a strong sense of collaboration.
- You know what you don’t know, and you are not afraid to say so.
- You are a team player, value the team’s well-being, and actively work with others.
Sounds like you? Then it’s quite possible you would be both happy and successful at ToolTime. So please go ahead and press the apply button.
